Found a website giving 50-1 odds on GB to win it all...So I bet $20. Figured that pay day of $1000 would be reallllllllllll sweet....
Question is: Smart bet or just wasting $20?

Not a bad bet. I think the Packers will get a wild card spot, and maybe upset a team or two in the playoffs. Favre will get them as far as he can before his teams lack of talent catches up to him.
